As Europe continues to witness the largest conflict on her soil since the Second World War, the leaders of Ukraine’s corrupt kleptocracy can rest easy knowing that they always have the option of finding safe passage to the United States and following in the footsteps of last year’s influx of the best and brightest from the U.S. puppet government in Afghanistan. Already, the spectacle of Ukrainian refugees arriving in Poland has supplemented the denunciations of Russia, the glorification of Ukraine’s president, and predictions of an imminent victory for the forces of goodness and light. Republican governors will likely fall over themselves to welcome Ukrainian refugees to their states, in part to own President Biden and libs, but also because these Ukrainian exiles would be part of their natural constituency.
They will be courted by the Republican Party, not because they are White, and not necessarily because their leadership is a group of feckless criminals, with the former fact being more damning than the latter. Instead, the GOP will do everything in its power to welcome any Ukrainian fleeing “Putin’s aggression” because the party is built around a coalition of losers.
“Now wait a minute,” a convenient strawman might say, “the Republicans are the party of oppressors and the Democrats the oppressed!”
But setting aside flights of fantasy watered by public education, let us look at the facts. The Democrats are the party of the emerging majority, or at least they were, and the smug self-righteousness that the left in this country possesses is borne out of the deepest of convictions, that they are on the right side of history, that mocha-colored state-mandated homosexuality is the future and there is no stopping it.
Republicans, on the other hand, have a weary defeatist quality to them. There is no turning back the clock, they will be the first to tell you, no way to undo or modify the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960’s, no way to put the genies of abortion, perversion, and demographic change back in the bottle. Once the party’s leaders promised to try their darnedest to slow the destruction of the historic American nation, now they don’t even pretend to offer their voters anything other than the catharsis of backlash politics.
In their never-ending quest to “own the libs”, Republican politicians and talking heads seized upon a seemingly-novel strategy to hammer at the Biden administration. Apparently, every single U.S. soldier in Afghanistan possessed a whole cadre of Afghanis whose services were at once vital to the imperial mission, and also not effective enough to have had a positive impact. Now, Republican governors want to bring these people here. By throwing this human detritus into the center of the country, Republicans think that they will be able to claim the moral high ground of being nicer to brown people than Joe Biden. More than anything else, this is the great prize for conservative politicians in this country. Everything else takes a backseat.
Despite the apparent novelty of Donald Trump and other Republicans now openly advocating for the mass importation of Muslims, this is not as new of a development as it would first appear. Since the turning away of the M.S. St. Louis with its precious cargo of jews, conservatives, many of them claiming to be hardened immigration restrictionists, have found it in their hearts to make exceptions for people fleeing Communist persecution. First, it was those displaced by the Communist takeover of Eastern Europe. Then, it was the Koreans, followed by Cubans, and those escaping from the collapse of South Vietnam. Unlike feckless Hondurans or Haitians, those losing their country to Communism bore a kind of nobility for the conservative mind. In a Cold War which was often characterized by international conferences and grandstanding speeches at the United Nations, here were people who actually had fought against the great red menace. Of course, they had all lost their respective struggles, but that heightened rather than detracted from the romanticism.
What the White Russians, the Cubans, the South Vietnamese, and others all had in common with today’s Afghani refugees is that they were losers. They fought for the right to shape the character and destiny of their homeland and they failed. Some struggled valiantly and others half-heartedly, but none of that changes the fact that their country and their countrymen ended up under the control of an ideology which they loathed. The Republican Party collected these dinosaurs into its coalition, happy for the bit of ethnic flair which they can trot out to assure their White voters that they aren’t racists for voting against Democrats. But the reason why they are such a perfect fit is because they are essentially defanged. A looting band of criminals may have suffered at the hands of the fabled Korean small-business owners in the Rodney King riots, but on a larger systemic scale, these people will not succeed in arresting the rot in this country.
Nor should they be expected to. If they could not save the lands of their people and their birth, why would they succeed in the alien land which welcomes all kinds of human detritus to its shores? The true believers among Republicans think that anti-Castro Cubans and their ilk possess some sort of hidden knowledge and experience that will help prevent the United States from suffering a horrible fate. They hope that these based brown people will do the fighting so that they don’t have to.
The Afghanis are the same way.
The stated belief by what passes for thought leaders in the Republican Party is that these refugees have demonstrated their love of the United States and its values through their working for the empire’s military or intelligence services. What it really proves is the willingness of these foreigners to sell out their countrymen and government for material comfort or ideological brainwashing. These people are not going to be conservatives’ secret weapon for winning their first battle in the culture war. If these refugees were devoted or competent, they would not have lost their own countries or, at the very least, they would not have fled to the land of milk and honey rather than fight for their homelands. But the Republican Party is, at its core, a party of losers and grifters, and is happy to welcome in its kindred spirits from all over the globe to join in on the joke that is American conservatism.
Historically, the fate of those collaborators who backed the losing side in a war as the new government engages in the primary act of politics by rewarding supporters and punishing opponents. Unlike the mass humiliation and rape of those who supported the Axis powers following the Allied victory in Europe, however, the victorious Taliban’s treatment of their countrymen seems to have been somewhat more restrained than expected. While some Afghanis have undoubtedly been punished by the new government, many of the most egregious actors seem to have gotten out of the country on one of the many foreign planes which were eager to take on as many military-age men as they could fit while leaving NATO soldiers to wait for the next flight. It is hard to summon much sympathy for the opium dealers, child rapists, and gender studies majors who sold out their country to the empire. There was a reason why Dante reserved the lowest circle of Hell for traitors.
As a class of individuals, traitors are not particularly known for holding fast when faced with opposition and danger, which is why the Afghanis will not help fight the cancer which is killing America any more than Cubans or Koreans or Vietnamese did. At worst, they will take the path of the Somalis and become the loudest champions of our people’s death. The Ukrainian refugees from the conflict with Russia will certainly not be as anti-White as these racial strangers, but they will not save us either. We cannot ever trust foreigners to do the jobs that we ourselves will not.
There is some hope for White Republican voters at least, as recent polling shows that, now that the initial high of owning the libs has worn off, support for bringing over CIA stooges, warlords, and urbanites from Afghanistan has dropped significantly. The only trouble is that Republican politicians have no reason to listen to their voters, not when replacing the American people is such a central aspect of the party’s agenda.
As is so often the case, importing third-world populations brings third-world problems. These aliens not only bring crime and foreign customs which disrupt the lives of their hosts, but they also affect the politics and interests of the country. The Cuban agenda in GOP politics is but one example of this pernicious interest, but it will only become more apparent as the country’s electorate becomes even more racially disharmonious. Indians and Pakistanis, Afghanis and Somalians, Chinese and Vietnamese, Mexicans and Cubans; each of these groups is pulling on the U.S. in different ways. We have gone from being the destination for explorers and pioneers to the dumping ground for the world’s losers.
It is time that heritage Americans stand up for our interests and extract what future we can from this decaying empire, lest we join the latest in the long line of Republican losers.
100% we are taking some of their best and brightest while also taking the worst that they have to offer. There is nowhere for us to flee to, we can only consolidate on the local scale.
