Our world has been plagued by not just a lack of beauty but, often, a complete annihilation of the beautiful in favor of the ugly, unpleasant and vulgar.
One victim of the bastardization of our culture has been the relationship.
A man, a woman and their children are the building blocks of every strong society in history. Remove the foundation and the society crumbles.
And make no mistake, a good relationship between a man and a woman is an aspect of beauty that is within all of our grasp. You need not have the talent to paint or sculpt nor a palate for haute cuisine.
The union of masculine and feminine is a perfection to which we can all aspire. We can strive to understand each other. Respect our men and cherish our women. Further, we can be men deserving respect and women worth cherishing. In doing so a small bit of beauty is brought back to the world.
