    1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

    1 Timothy 5:8 applies to the foreigners as well.
    “Deuteronomy 10:18
    18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.”

    1. You’re playing framing games. The passages you posted are in reference to sojourners (excepting 1 Timothy 5:8 which exclusively deals with one’s own people). You deliberately chose a translation that uses the term “foreigner” instead of the more precise “sojourner” because you have an ax to grind. You did this because a sojourner is someone who is present only temporarily. Our contemporary political context is dealing with a mass invasion of people wishing to settle our land (which, in scripture, is always a curse), not people who are merely passing through our land.

      1. We have to lead with that one eveytime because the Bible sucks on race and is really just Jew worship. In reality the Bible is racial egalitarianism at absolute best and Jew worship at the worst. So I have delayed baptism and am having second thoughts on all of it. What’s wrong with bringing this Richard Carrier guy on Myles? I’m wondering if you’re having doubts too. If you dodge this then it’s like underlining thats hes right. I’m sorry but that’s how it appears to me. I have looked at some of his materials and I think he might know the Bible better than you do.
