This is one of the best episodes yet. I was having a conversation with one of my employees who is Nepalese and they were telling me how they did their family ritual honoring their dead Patriarchs and explained what they did during that time. Honestly, it made me jealous and slightly embarrassed. I couldn’t even tell you the month any of mine died. Come to think of it, I can’t even name anyone beyond my great grandparents. This is a call to action. I have to find a way now to implement and instill meaningful ritual into my family’s life. We have discussed family worship after dinner in the past as a practice. I think the time has come to forge ahead. Maybe we could even find a day to celebrate and commemorate our own family.
