I never had a shred of respect for him so I won’t pretend to have any sympathy now. I hope all this grief and shock expressed by our guys is purely machiavellian, because Kirk hated our sphere more than any other group. His activism was all about trying to temper insane leftism to stop it from provoking the rise of true right wing ideologies.
