Gordon and Magnus have a discussion about the 2018 New York Times article “The Maps That Show That City vs. Country Is Not Our Political Fault Line” by Collin Woodard, which is, itself, discussing Woodard’s book “American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America.” The two discuss how accurate the distinctions are, and why these distinctions matter, especially in regards to forming a cohesive “Amerikaner” identity.
Gordon and Magnus have a (sometimes rambling, but always interesting) discussion about several narratives in the “hot take” ecosystem, and what they might mean for the future of America, and especially for Amerikaners. They start with the recent viral “Trump Mugshot,” move on to happenings on “The Website Formerly Known as Twitter” and finish off with some fun banter related to the shenanigans of the Paiute Tribal Police.

Goldsmith is a virulent anti-White propagandist, and the founder of “Task Force Butler,” a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is “to identify, expose, and interrupt organized extremist gangs and their illegal activities.” Goldsmith is also a proud jew, suggesting a racial and ethnic hatred fueling his activities. Task Force Butler has largely been unsuccessful, and this is likely due to the incompetence of Mr. Goldsmith himself.

Gordon and Magnus read through a recent article from The Asylum entitled “A National Divorce From Reality,” itself a response to an Asylum piece by Michael Anton, former Trump staffer, that was a dialogue between a liberal and a conservative about a “national divorce.” The article goes through all of the problems with this strategy, while Gordon and Magnus go through their problems with the article itself.
