We have all been there. Seeing election fraud perpetrated in front of us was demoralizing. The fortunate thing is that it let EVERYONE know, this is normal. Whatever your opinion of Donald Trump, you now know they neglected to cheat enough in 2016. The biggest thing President Donald Trump did was to expose the media as the enemy of the people. But, that is beside the point I am trying to make here.
If you do not live in a rural area already, things might seem bleak. Eggs are cresting $10 a dozen while the government advises you skip breakfast. Doctors are still advising you to get the jab regardless of what research comes out against it. People tell you that you are all manner of “-ist” because you refuse to participate in their delusion.
None of this shit matters when you can escape to be among your own kind. You may not be able to move immediately, but you can begin to plan for that eventuality. You don’t have to venture into the Georgia wilderness where your corn pipe is in constant danger. Every state in the middle of the country has rural areas conducive to a more self-sustained life. Even Colorado!
Some areas are more desirable than others, but this is easy to discern with Internet research. Your level of handiness and/or willingness to learn will dictate where you go. If you can fell a tree and make your own planks, undeveloped land might be your prospect. If you are less mechanically inclined you might look at existing houses on plots of land.
Whatever your proclivity for adventure, there is something for you out there. Churches provide a safe meeting ground for like-minded people and potential spouses. Home schooling your children (future children?) will save them from the garbage peddled in public school. Rural areas often have factories and other industrial outfits with plenty of employment. If nothing else, one could find a job in the “big city” and commute.
I have had to tell myself this many times over the past couple of years.
Don’t give up on America just yet – she may still have some surprises in store for all of us.
