Hello Super and Myles,
I am thankful to have found you on telegram. I am new to the Confessional Lutheran lcms denomination… 2016. I have seen many things in the lcms that have caused me to pause and ask questions. I live in Kuna, Idaho. I tried moving from the Boise lcms I was attending to the Kuna lcms when we moved in 2020. Anyway the relationship between some of the lcms churches in the valley are a bit messy. My husband and I both would consider ourselves Christian Nationalist. My husband has been done with churches for a long while now. I made this Lutheran journey by myself… and will continue being a Lutheran. Unfortunately I am seeing more and more compromising in the local lcms churches. A few have been struggling to be or stay conservative… but the battle is uphill. I am what some in your generation would call a “Boomer”… but I was not one to go a long with what I call the “Boomer curses and crowd”. I have spoken out for many years against the so call feminist movement and so much more… And have lost many a so called friends because I would not conform. Anyway I am thankful for you guys as well as “Stone Choir” and “Gottesdienst Crowd”. My pastor from Good Shepherd Lutheran in Boise a month ago asked if I was ready to transfer my membership to Zion Lutheran in Nampa? I told him not yet. I wanted to wait until this fall. I did try attending Kuna Lutheran lcms (new plant)… but they are not in anyway a Confessional… nor do they really resemble a Lutheran Church. I am praying that I will be able to plug in… but being a Christian Nationalist and not a sheeple for the majority of my life does make it harder. I was raised in the Nazarene Church (Wesleyan) with a strong Mormon influence in my younger years. My mother was raised mormon. So I run from anything pentecostal, law, law, works, works.

By the way, as the guy whose comment on ‘The Radicals’ you mentioned – I wasn’t upset or anything, totally understand real life issues meaning you need to restructure the schedule. Far be it from me to complain – heck, Mongoose only updates my favorite podcast once every 4 months or so. It was just a joke about the fact that Myles combined the Godcast intro and the Popcorn and Soda intro at the beginning of that episode. No ill will intended!
