In this episode, SuperLutheran and Myles do one of their famous live reacts to a very confused pagan who is under the impression that many of the classical arguments for God somehow work better for paganism.

If an ideal candidate wanted to join your congregation, how would you define a soul to him or her?
Please give me a brief definition of what a soul is, as you see it.
Thank you.
I would define the soul as that necessary part of a person that is immaterial and eternal, distinct from the mind and body. JP Moreland has more information. For a better answer, your best bet is to read his work.
The editor has been doing a heck of a job lately, really earning his pay. I always love these takedowns of atheist (or atheist-with-horns) shit takes, though it was disappointing how surface level this guy’s arguments were. I was hoping for some real schizo stuff about how the Trinity is a Christian concession to the necessity of a polytheistic pantheon, or something.
