In this episode, SuperLutheran and Myles take an updated look at the concept of ethnonationalism in Scripture. Since our original episode on the topic, more people have been doing more work in this field of study, especially as replacement migration has made it more relevant. We answer emails after the break, and end with a special announcement.

Super debuting as a vtuber with a rigged Martin Luther model seems like the obvious future for the Godcast. Thank you for all the work you’ve put into this Myles. I listened to TRS before trump was ever a candidate and over the years your content became the only show originating from that network which mattered to me.
Congrats on moving up in the world Myles! Thank you for all the work you’ve put in over the years
One can listen to words (that’s easy and recommended by the word merchant).
Or, one can look at the actions (takes effort and the merchant frowns upon such shenanigan).
“In partnership with Lutheran congregations and Lutheran social ministry organizations, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service has welcomed more than 379,000 refugees to the United States since 1939. This ongoing partnership and work is driven by God’s love for all people and a vision for congregations to be welcoming and generous centers for mission and ministry.”
The building designed to look like the Tower of Babble that you’re thinking of is the European Parliament in Brussels. The main part of the UN building in NY is just a soulless glass and steel rectangle, but it also has a sizable concrete brutalist rectangle sticking off the side for the first few floors.
Even though we’ve already had several Godcast episodes hosted or run solo by SuperLutheran, I just can’t imagine it without Myles around. Been listening since 2017 and while I’m sad to see him step away, I’m glad he’s got better things ahead for him. May some oddly-internet-savvy Saudi prince find Christ so that he can bankroll Myles’ return to the podcast!
